So many Christian's claim the promises of God, and speak the word of God to others. I think that's good, very good. I meet a lot of Christian not only weekly in my life, but also online through the ministries within our network. I am thankful to God to have been blessed with so many brothers and sisters in Christ. I am actually in awe to how many wonderful believers that I have had the privilege of meeting so far in my life and especially online from all over the world.Yet I want to share something with you that I learned many years ago. It's one thing to know the word of God. It's one thing to hear the word and words of God. It's one thing to preach to others the word of God. And it is another thing to be a hearer and a doer of the word of God.
For example: We all want God to bless us, to shine His favor upon us, to open doors of provision in our lives. We pray, we ask, we hope. Yet sometimes God requires something from us. For example:
Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
The above scripture is the word of God. It is prophetic. It is one of God's promises to all who will receive it, stand in it, hear it and do it. Are you a giver?
